many many years! since I was a kid
Sadly we are definitely unable to attend now. It never rains but it pours, ceran is ill, Ronnie has a lump that's just appeared, daughter's dog Toby has a nasty lump and to top it all today, Brenda has found a lump in her breast and doctor made an urgent referral to hospital. Looks like surgery all round is on the cards in the next couple of weeks

Motorhomed for almost 7 years - now going nowhere!
It is sad to see and hear so many have cancelled. Lots of PPP to your wife @TheBig1

Our situation is also in the air. We set off this morning with an intended stop planned for half-way. An engine warning light came on so we are back at the Fiat garage in Diss. They suspect the turbo so are ordering the part and hope it will arrive by 8.30 tomorrow morning. We are optimistic that we can resume our journey tomorrow but will have to drive direct to Lymington. I will keep you posted if we have to start cancelling things.

No food in the house (it's all in the motorhome!} so it looks as tho' I'm being taken out for lunch:LOL:

Pam I hope you get sorted, we have decided to travel and if we need to rescue the kids we will do it from there, hopefully we will be on the road by 2pm. The last we heard from the kids is they have gone to Dieppe to the garage to ask whats going on, its shut for lunch, viv la France

My goodness, it's all happening to your family. I hope Brenda's lump is a false alarm and the pouches too.

We are currently parked up at The Filly Inn just down the road so hopefully tomorrow’s journey should be stress free especially after a night in the pub ;)

If anyone is too early tomorrow and looking for somewhere to stop - Hatchet Pond near Beaulieu is lovely for a bit of wildlife watching while having a cuppa. There’s a car park off the B3055 which is where the ice cream van normally hangs out but a larger generally quieter car park is just down the B3054.

We were also at Cherwell Debs but obviously not at the same time!! Spending the night in a lovely wooded area wild camping - just about 50/60 miles todo tomorrow.

Safe travels everyone - have a good evening wherever you are folks.
