Hi all,
Has anyone got any experience, views, reviews etc on LV insurance. Got a very reasonable (comparatively) from them. They didn’t seem to want as much detail as others so I am wondering is this too good to be true. They did not want a tracker immediately, Vehicle is new and over 100K ins. Value
Thanks and BW
Tk

I've never made a claim, but any dealings I've had with them have always been dealt with quickly, accurately and extremely politely - and, oh yes, cheaply! I'm a member of Boundless ( formerly CSMA) so I do get a discount on my car, household, motorvan, motorbike and travel insurance and if I do shop around at renewal time, I've not found cheaper.

my sister works for LV so I qualify for a discount, so I looked into their cover. They don't do a specialist motorhome cover, it is just a car or van policy with limitations like accessories and contents not covered

I've got all three vehicles with LV but they use their Highways subsidiary for motorhome insurance

Don’t know about MH but I have had house and car with LV for 9 years now and have always found them very helpful and pleasant to deal with. One claim for storm damage was dealt with very quickly.

I have always been happy with LV although never made a claim but easy to deal with when putting visiting family members on our car insurance and they don’t hike up the price each year unlike some.

WORD OF WARNING: My Range Rover only worth £50k but they will only pay out for theft claim if Tracker activated. So just double check regarding Tracker as they didn’t refuse to insure but loss would be excluded if I didn’t have a tracker on my car and your Motorhome is double the value.

As mentioned check proper MH policy otherwise no cover for contents and accessories plus you will have fun and games 're valuation if major loss. / complex repair
Personally I'd go with cover over price

I nearly went with them as very competitive but the windscreen cover was quoted to me as being less than £1000 - £800 I think and I didn’t want to take the risk knowing my windscreen would be more.

Thanks all, will go for specialist moho cover, I think

I used them for our scooter. Great service, most quoting £700 lv £350.thank you lv.

We have 2 cars and a scooter and house insurance with them had a car accident (hit in the rear ) the other person with Tesco they were getting aggressive from the out set so contacted LV and said if Tesco contact you again tell them to contact us. LV sent a breakdown wagon with a car the same as ours on changed cars and returned it a week later fixed.
Great service from LV would recommend them for most things but when called about MH the girl said they could do it but also said go to a specialist company

I always found LV to be 50% of the price of others for my vans & cars when we lived in the Uk & that was over 17 years ago. Sounds like they are still-
