Can anyone recommend a site in Luxembourg, I expect I will be using the E25. so close to the motorway and within a bus or cycle ride to the centre would be good.

After that it's down to lake Iseo Italy for a while, maybe a Sosta or a small site, any recommendations out there.

Cheers Alan

I recommend camping Iseo. We are now on Covelo.. A bit cheaper but not so nice. Call and book it's busy now!

Hi We stayed at the ACSI Alzingen site last year for a week and found it well run with good access to city with bus ride costing E2. A small petrol station supermarket just outside was handy, with a bigger s/market 1/2 mile up the road.Luxembourg City has a very good cycle path system so you can cycle into the centre in 20 mins.
We really liked Luxembourg,an interesting place with friendly people.
Regards
Andrew

I think Zippy is referring to the Bon Accueil Kat 1. We stayed there earlier this year, excellent site, very clean and tidy. Agree with his comments, about the people, the big supermarket up the road is cheaper, with a superb selection of meat and wine.

Bon Accueil in Luxembourg is a fabulous site, lovely shower block, nice bar and very convenient for the city. Bus stop, small supermarket and chinese restaurants on the doorstep, however make sure you call them before you arrive - when we stayed in May they were full every day.

Ok night one, its far to noisy at Covelo...we will move on tommorow. The area near the towns hospital has 3 sites and we stayed at camping Iseo. I would book one of those....much nicer and walking distance to town

It's seems you can't book the site at Luxembourg, do you think they will have spaces last week in August.

I expect we will need a plan B, just in case.

We stayed recently at camping gritt in Ingeldorf. Easy trip into the city by train. Very nice campsite with lovely facilities over looking the river.
