Vianden in Luxembourg is beautiful. Has it’s own castle which well worth a visit by ski lift !

There’s 2 campsites 10 mins walk from the center..

Vianden has some lovely restaurants, afewbars but is in a lovely location. On the way to and from there you will see some really nice towns. We stayed 3 days and enjoyed every minute

I don’t think you can go wrong with a trip along the Moselle from Trier to Koblenz. It’s festival time and there is a list on this website including one on 27th July at Traben - Trarbech. We caught one at Cochem when we were there.

Don’t miss Berg Eltz.

There's loads to see in Belgium - go to the local tourist office, you'll be surprised.

Remich, no facilities, park right up next to the river for free. 8 petrol stations all at 1.11.7 2 weeks ago. 500 metre walk into town, about 3 festivals going on !

House outside the camp, that had a Motorcycle petrol tank as a Post Box.. Mmmmm(y) and cheap fuel,i think it all has to be priced the same......?

looks as if will be the MOSEL then!!Thanks for replies so far.

If you've not seen a Moselle vineyard you will not believe you eyes. But don't expect to get into the first stellplatz or campsite you see. If you like Moselle wine you'd better have a good payload.

love wine!will have to drink it all whilst there!!

This is a good stellplatz for it. Waste and water, right on the river and not much money. But within staggering distance are wineries that entice you in and for a euro a glass will let you try all their wines. Now you know the stagger bit, carrying boxes of wine. The Germans do a very drinkable red wine too.

And in fact the whole Moselle is full of opportunities to buy wine. Many the size of a large garage each with their own distinctive wine,

We've just been up the Mosel and cut the trip short to go to ... Norway

Its certainly a nice part of Germany to visit and would have stayed longer if circumstances hadn't changed our plans.

Btw fuel in Remich just over a week ago seems to have gone up, it was a whopping €1.12.5
