Hi

The roof leaks because the laminate on the roof has flaked off - can anyone suggest a good way to fox it please?

Also, I need a user manual for it.

Thanks:Smile:

Sorry don't know Lunar motorhomes but at least this will bump you back to top.

Someone is bound to pick you up who does.

which Lunar is it??

i could certainly photocopy my manual or scan and send it via email?

i would be trying to repair the laminate with some cloth and fibreglass but I'm sure there must be better ways.

Not quite sure what you mean about the "laminate on the roof".
Our H621 had a leaking roof light whilst in Portugal last year.
Our roof is aluminium on top of ply. They claimed that the walls are gel coated aluminium but the roof is flexible sheet ally, if you know what I mean.

We took out the roof light and managed to bodge it by bedding it on Denso that a mate had on site. When I got home I took it out again and reseated it on flexible butyl mastic ('orribly sticky, stringy stuff) and that seems to have done the trick. Just recently found a leak on the rear locker door frame, the standard Dometic type, and thats had the same treatment now. Hope this helps

PS Even if the coating is coming off the ally, I am sure that this sealant would cope with the minute variations in thickness Everseal was the name
