Lunar roadstar
has anyone had a problem with bottoming out boarding a ferry ive been told it could but want to go to france next week

If it is a Roadster 780 or 786, 55 plate or later then yes there is a problem. We had a 780 and on leaving the Dover/Calais ferry the fingers of the loading ramp caught under the rear chassis member and bent it.
The chassis member is U shaped with the open end pointing towards the front the bottom edge lodged under the loading ramp. Luckily the member bent before any serious damage was done.
I had semi air suspension fitted after which enabled the rear to be lifted about 10cm.
