Just saw this on facebook a tree snaps in high winds and falls on a motorhome nobody hurt . Im pleased we did not go for the overcab bed option .:eek:

Thought for a minute it was Robert Clarks van but he is on his way north.phew!
Very lucky that's a huge tree trunk.

I only put informative as I don't thing -like or nice one or funny -would be right but yes lucky escape.

I have been caravanning for 32 years but in 2014 I have"gone over to the dark side"
Oh no, heartbreaking for thd owners. But as you say a lucky escape.

I'd say more like unlucky to have parked under a tree that fell :( a couple of feet to the rear and all would have been well!

We're always very cautious in high winds - particularly of the sort that you get in southern Spain in the winter :eek:. We spent a sleepless night under a swinging electricity cable once - moved out immediately next morning :D.
When we arrived, in very high winds at the camperstop in Vera, they very kindly told us to park right next to the reception building in the disabled space, as it was far too dangerous to park higher up the site.
I think it's the one thing I don't like about Spain in the winter.:oops:
