We fly back soon and need to get these test's done. Do any one of you folks know of a walk in test centre where we can get them done with a certificate to show.
Can't do them on line as my Phone is Kaput,

Not any more PCR tests now
Don't think this is correct, just copied this from gov.uk. Seems either will do

Changes to pre-departure testing from 4am, Tuesday 7 December 2021

From 4am, Tuesday 7 December all people aged 12 years and over must take a PCR or LFD COVID-19 test before they travel to England from abroad.

You must take the test within the 2 days before you travel to England.

This will apply whether you qualify as fully vaccinated or not.

Yes that’s exactly what I just looked up, might change all again in few days time though, they like to get as much confusion in as possible .

It might help your cause if you informed the assembled masses which conurbation you intend to fly from.

PCR test on return
So the gov.uk is not correct? Currently it states lft or pcr before entering then pcr within 2days. It would not surprise me if they are incorrect but this is what they are currently listing.

Either LFT or PCR before departure back to UK and then PCR within 2 days of return and isolate until negative test result received which is what gov.uk website states.

Its confusing enough for travellers returning, now our so called government has decided to add more confusion with rules changing on a near daily basis, it could be that if you’re returning on a long haul flight rules may change whilst you’re in the air.

CONURBATION??:rolleyes:what a big word!!, Alicante airport will do for me.
Hope your both good
I believe we have to take a LFT or a PCR test before leaving Spain, followed by the PCR tests after arriving back in UK ( booked these with Chronomics)
Today being a holiday in Calpe we intend to go to Clinica Benidorm (in Calpe) tomorrow to find out what to do
