Has anyone any suggestions please.

If you do fit something like this make sure you have ventilation as the instructions and don't fit it in the shower room

To be mounted outside only the only instantaneous water heater now is the imass but its around 750 to buy which by the time you buy a space heater is getting close to combi money
The ones big one linked to are deadly if fitted inside

I'm surprised you would even consider something like that in a van 28kw unflued instantaneous water heater in a van no ce mark ventilation would be
Need to be the size of a door to be safe
I had a vailant in an old van and it was basically fitted in a sealed shaft through the van with a sealed door for access

personally if budget was tight, I would pick up a used caravan and re-use the appliances, charger and other parts for the conversion, selling on what I didn't use or need

A great idea 👍

We had one of those in a Bathroom in Borneo. It was inside, sort of, as so much of bathroom was open to the elements style, it was as much outside.
I have to say, once working they certainly chuck out a decent amount of hot water continuously.
