Centre of Calpe there is a Cepsa station. It sells bottle gas and may have a gasfil point. Failing that there is definitely a gas station just off the N332 near Benidorm. Pretty sure it's a Total. It's near the bus / train station. If your stuck the Spanish gas bottles (full) at the Cepsa are only £10.
Good luck

We filled up this year just off the N332. Leave the 332 heading towards the large Benidorm bus station and it'll be on your right. It's actually on a roundabout. It's possible they've closed the gas but I doubt it as all the Benidorm taxis use it.

Autogas GPL is becoming more common in Spain unlike this country.

Not as simple as that as you have to have an empty to exchange. It is possible to buy empties at a Rastro (market/car boot sale) for about 10 euro but strictly not legit. Spain has tough LPG/GPL regulations. Just because a station sells bottle gas doesn't mean it will have Autogas GPL.
