LPG now available at Marquis Exeter

Marquis Exeter branch have now installed LPG tank to provide refilling of tanks and bottles.

Good move on their part. It will be a pain to man it, especially when people rock-up and get a £1.76 top up. But getting motorhomers to a dealership for any reason, makes good business sense. Let's hope more dealers follow suit.

My local supplier has a £5 minimum charge which I think is right. There were getting people doing £2 top ups and the boss almost closed it down.

Used this facility yesterday on the way home from Southsea, great location Martins of Exeter site now called Marquis of Exeter. £99 per ltr (Calor gas) not self service. You need to go to the office and someone will come and do the filling for you. We were there at the same time as a Dutch couple who did not have the correct adaptor, Marquis had an adaptor that they used to fill his tank but they could not sell it to him as it was there only one.
We will be using them from now on. Like all motorhome sales sites they have plenty of useful items for sale in the shop and motorhomes for sale outside, they also have toilets for customer use.
