The OPIE OIL site is at the junction of the B3300 from Lanner and the B3297 from Fourlanes/Helston, ust in case you hav'n't got a sat/nav

The tricky junction included in C licence practical routes due to vehicle positioning at the lights.

I've gotten into the habit of calling LPG stations first lately, as so many places are out of gas or broken.

Was really surprised when Opie said they have stopped selling it, but nice of them to give the phone number/postcode of the new place (Teresa & Paul) close by

That is bad news about Opie, been buying from them for years, thanks for the heads up looks like Illogan now then.

At the moment I believe they are temporarily out of stock, it is also a b*gger of a place to get to the tank but hopefully they will continue. We should all write to Bennetts in Truro to open the tank again, they would have a monopoly now!

might be out of stock today but it's very easy to get to the LPG tank coming from Illogan, with enough place to turn around after filling up.

Went to Teresa & Paul LPG today near Redruth as planned.

Really nice people and easy access to the pump

70p per litre.
