I was about to buy a metal locker as i had always thought the gas locker always needed to be metal lined.
After doing some research and seeing some you tube videos of poeple who have paid and applied for the latest regulations there is no mention of it being metal lined.
Obviously the enclosure needs a 50mm upstand on the door entrance from the floor
11Kg bottle needs a 50mm drop vent
Position must not be over an exaust due to heat expanding the gas pressure in the bottle
All exists of cables going through need to be sealed and no joints inside.
Bottle needs top and bottom fixing that does not require tools to remove if required

Anyone know if its a requirement

Thanks in advance

When we looked into gas lockers, we realised and went with a underslung tank a better option. What you describe there is true for a safe internal locker.

Ours is wood and is not lockable. It's wood. It has a seal though and catches. It's behind a lockable garage door. It has a 50mm drop vent. It's a new van.
