Hi

We're off to the continent in 2 weeks and I'm wondering if I need to buy any specific gas adapters?

I've got a fixed LPG tank undernath my Hymer with a twist off cap (brass tap on the right hand side):

When I fill up in the UK I use a screw on adaptor and then the LPG filler gun kinda snaps in and turns 90 degrees to lock.

Question is, do I need any other adapters - we're visiting France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland.

Cheers!

I bought this Link Removed the other day from eBay, and they arrived within 24 hours. Looks like they'll cover pretty much all possibilities.

You can find instructional videos on European filler pumps on YouTube.

our LPG tank lasts at least 6 weeks with the fridge on 24/7. Now as to adapters if your UK/dutch adapter has a screw inside the top of it then the other adapters are readily available, you will need the claw for France and the acme for Italy are you really planning to cover all those countries in 2 weeks, be a bit of a rush though not impossible. As already said a lot are apparently now using the euro adapter but usually available from the garage.
