Odd one - arrived on the Castleton CAMC site [very good] to discover that somewhere along my journey... my lpg filler cap has disappeared ... how, why when?

Anyway, replacements seem to be cheap enough - don't think I'll go to the expense of a lockable one... but,
Does anyone know if they are standard fit? Looking at Amazon it may be there's short or long...

I suppose I could always pay the extra & get a proper one from Gas It .

Since the standard British LPG pump nozzle has to fit onto the filler on the MH, and the filler cap fits onto the same lugs as the nozzle they must be standard.

not long enough
I got fed up with leaving mine on pumps when refilling, now have a bag of 10 and since then have never lost another, as you say they are cheap enough, think I paid £25 for10

But as above pretty sure they are a standard size (y)

Yes, I have bought one too. It's strange how they disappear as they are very tight fitting, so they must have been pinched!

The caps can fall apart quite easily... the outer bit is just a snap fit over the inner bayonet fitting... if the outer bit does dislodge then the spring tension is lost and the cap could fall off whilst travelling..

Some bugger will have pinched it , a guy I was talking with over the weekend had one of his fridge vent covers stolen the other week.

I do not know what system you have, but our Gaslow cap has a bayonet type cap which engages with a twist onto the inner bayonet lugs.

that's why when I'm not going to be using the hot water boiler & the outer cover is on to stop dust/debris I have 2 screws , 1 each side to stop opportunists.

The Gaslow one I have has the 2 parts screwed together so I guess it won't pop off. There are also 2 small holes, 1 in the cap and 1 in the socket so I just tied a bit of string thru them 'cos I'm bound to leave it when filling.
