Not a inside or outside question. On my 604 the obvious place is in the skirt between the Hab door and gas locker. Is the skirt strong enough? Does it need a plate behind skirt? where have you fitted yours? Another place suggested was the towbar, rear face or side facing. This would be at least 3m to the locker, needing a connector. Any comments. Yes inside the locker would be easy.

Inside can cause issues with attendant on forecourt stations, if you check your skirt I’m pretty sure you will see strengthening struts I have put mine along side to avoid flexing when filling it works perfect for me

Dave Newell fitted my LPG filler here on my Rapido 646. No strengthening needed, ABS is strong enough here.

Our LPG is in the gas locker door. Plus one ordinary tank. Just in case we are unable to find a LPG station.

Remember to paint or use sealant to fit the gaslow point hole edge as the aluminium will oxidise and the paint will bubble over time if left unprotected.

I plan this in the new year, I will be fitting filler in the gas locker and see how I get on. Can always move it into the skirt at a later date if I have any problems and will be easier to move to another van in the future.

When I did mine, I made backing plates of 9mm ply glued at the back, sandwiching the body panel. For the gas, ehu and water fill up, it helps with flexing of the body panel.

Thanks for the resurection.
I have fitted mine in the locker, with the intention of keeping options open.
The only problems so far have been with a large Shell shield interferring with the locker whilst rotating. I've used a 90 degree bracket in the cupboard. The silver grey plastic is quite flimsy. To the right of the locker is the cab
