Hi Mine was done by:
Logical Automotive near Northampton
Gas Carb type
2x100 litre tanks fitted inside the rear frame rails with two fillers
Petrol tank dropped and reduced in length by about a third to enable the tanks to be fitted
GM 8.1 vortec
£3500.00

Reasonable installation but expensive. :(

Hi Olley a lot of the cost must be in modding the fuel tank did they chop your tank or fit a small one ??

Got quoted £2200 by your people Tony.

Mine needs a sequential one (is yours an injection engine?)

On my jeep I am not going to have much control over the fuel when it starts.

Apparently if its cold and not responding depress a small button on a gauge and that puts petrol in?

Am I right?

Hi Fordy they chopped the tank for £500. Mines fuel injection john, and its not sequential injection, (gas carb)

hi John
yes mine is injection
maybe thats why your quote was differant
mine has a small button also next to the gauge so i can transfer from gas to petrol
i always start on petrol and then when its up to normal running temp switch to gas
this keeps the petrol system in good working order
