On and off for many years.
We'll need to top up the LPG in the next week or two. I haven't spotted an LPG garage in the area so far, does anyone know of one? The BP station that used to do it (on the A14) no longer have the sign out so I assume they no longer stock it.

Don't go to any bother looking as it's not vital, we have calor if needed - just if you live in the area and know of an LPG station.

The filling station at Thickthorn roundabout , can't remember who , just west of Norwich on A11 I believe still has it, yes as above Calor at Harford , Norwich and I think it's Shell in Plumstead Road , Norwich , about 4 hundred yards from St Williams way roundabout towards Ketts Hill.

Filled up there three weeks ago on our way out of Norfolk. 49.90 per litre. Hope to fill up there on our way back as far cheaper than France!

Asked at Calor depot Norwich and they will not fill motorhomes unless you can show you have a proper underslung permanent tank.

Morrisons supermarket in Kings Lynn is the cheapest by miles (but it is a few miles out of your way).

That is the problem with morrisons in Lynn, ok if you're in town but can be a pain to drive in to town if that is all you want when sainsburys and tesco are right on the A47.

Yes, too far out of our way this time round. I think we will try Harvest or the A49 / A11 as we go past. As I said not urgent yet but as we are going past we will fill.

I have the CoC from Autogas so wonder if Calor would accept that? It's an alugas cylinder not a tank.

I think they will still class it as a removable cylinder, and wave a regulation at you. Mine is alugas and bolted in with a metal hoop and bolts. Not tried them with that yet. I'll be interested in what your experience is if you try Calor Norwich.

Probably not bother with Calor to be honest. Can't be doing with hassle.

I mentioned Morrisons and the debate about filling stations removing pumps to a neighbour who runs a car on LPG. IHO Morrisons in Kings Lynn would never give up the pumps because of the trade from the taxis sitting at the station next door. I'm still contemplating a tank or cylinders.

I must admit have not been there since the sainsburys opened at the hardwick. Nothing wrong with morrisons , sainsburys is just easier to drive to.

We filled the LPG tank at Harvest in Thetford. Great price and no hassle.

When "off grid" we seem to use about litre of gas a day - that's for fridge, freezer, water heating, cooking etc.
