Hi all,

Got a Jap import which was a rash purchase from ebay a year ago. Luckily got a bargain and a real gem. We love it. It is a Toyota Toyoace Champ, known as the wagon, or the dobe mobile...

Welcome littlenell, Our first motor home was a jap inport a mazda bongo we had it fully converted to motorhome spec It was a brilliant every day vehicle. Sadly we found it wasn't quite big enough so we traded it in after 18 months.

:welcome: Littlenell to MH Fun

Not to worry as long as it does what you want it gets you out and about, there are plenty of owners of large motorhomes that aren't half as happy as you sound with yours.

Best of luck

Thanks- we went to the RV show at Shepton Mallet and went in/out of other vans, and considering how much we paid for it, came away with the satisfaction of knowing ours is a real find!

Here is our van and the dobes

That looks great for going places where the big boys would not stand a chance, and, with today's fuel costs you are on a real winner. There's something about it that just looks *right*.
