It was that cold up here on the moors yesterday even my shoelaces were frozen when I came back with the dogs on the morning.

Its like the arctic circle up here but I,m not moaning, its much better than the mild, stormy, rainy stuff. W

e were like snowmen and snow dogs coming back in the house, plenty of logs in and food, what more do you want.
It was a fight to get nearest the fire when we came in and guess what, the bloody dogs won.

Hopefully weather like this will not become a thing of the past, moorland heather needs cold weather to thrive and kill pests/bugs off.
Its a different climate up here, always a few degrees colder, never ever get any nights when you can't sleep. You certainly don't need air conditioning let me tell you.
