I keep looking at my glass sink/cooker covers…. Mmmmmm🤔
If you want to do them do NOT remove them as they never go back properly! I found it was easier to cut the material to shape with a 1" overlap at the sides/front, use the straight edge at the rear and you can mark where the hinges are and cut out a 'U' shape to go round them, start sticking it on from the rear gradually and then when it's all on you can go round the edges with a very sharp craft/Stanley knife to get rid of the excess and get a nice finish, if you try to do it from a template you'll still end up having to trim it as the material can give whilst fitting it and trying to cut off little overlapping bits is extremely tricky.

What is the tip for applying without any wrinkles? Used Fablon years ago but always had wrinkles!

did you only do the front or the sides as well?
Not sure what you mean. Took the doors off and wiped down with meths then used sticky backed plastic sheet from B&Q. Covered the outside and around the edges, did not cover insides as too mean to buy extra material. The more I see it the more I like it, may wrap some other panels but probably not in 'marble' as it may be overkill.

Lined up straight edge , pulled a bit of backing off , start to smooth it out with credit card from centre to sides. You can lift it up and re set it if you are quick, and bubbles smooth out but if you do have one or two little ones you can puncture with tiny tiny pin hole and smooth out, (it doesnt show )

Love the idea of brightening the interior of our 2008 Apache with some wrap. Brill!

What great transformations! I'm just plucking up the courage to do my whole kitchen at home with this D C Fix stuff. I think I'll bite the bullet now and order some gloss white. đź‘Ť

For all those owners of A Classes (Hymer) that may have an issue with the grp front bonnet fading beyond recovery this might be an alternative to a respray.
