Not much substance in there BB apart from eastern Europeans picking up washing machines that they thought had been dumped outside for collection. We get that all the time down here.

You missed what Dr Thomas Green reported. They were targetting small expensive items whch they could hide on their person......the white goods were not the substance of the report.

I always notice that the pictures of flooded areas and seaflooding over proms that there are plenty of cars there, Do these vehicle not start and go up hills to higher point when the flooding is expected. An expensive item that is movable SHOULD MOVE when the warnings are given. Last time the River Medway flooded, there was an RV parked up, and up to the floor with water, Why no move it 100 yards up up the slope? Not taxed? well do not bother about that. Move everything you can up stairs or away from the water, get it safe.
