Auto cruise Jazz PVC, tap is loose, and I can’t find access to it. Obvious route is from the back via the van door, but it is tricky, don’t want to remove panel work. Any ideas please?
I can feel that the ‘retainer‘ has come off, but can’t reach to grip it, or see it. A diagram would help, can the sink be removed perhaps. All positive help gratefully received. It’s the toilet sink not the kitchen.

If you posted some photos it would help.
Thanks Lenny HB, photos might help, but my IT skill is poor (I’ll try). And there is little to see, the rear is covered by a big bit of posh chipboard which I can just get my arm up to feel the tap bottom about 30cms away up a narrow gap. I am hoping someone who has a similar van has been there done that? Or knows how to get the sink out?

Ed Scratcher - If it is the same drop down sink as in the Alto then yes the sink can be removed. With the sink down you gently ease it out by lifting each side gently to clear the retaining pin then just pull out. A bit scary initially but I remove mine regularly to clean the trough behind.

Ed Scratcher I think you may have the same sink as I have fitted to my Autocruise Rhythm the sink will come out ,if tilt it to about 45 degrees it pulls out, but this will not allow you to get to the tap fixing.
The only way to get to the C type tap fixing plate nut in my van was up through a panel under the sink ,which is almost impossible , but a past owner had cut a hatch in the wardrobe wall that was behind it in my van to enable easy access to the fixing retaining nut with an open ended 11mm spanner. (which was very handy)
I cannot see any way to remove the tap/sink pivot section , without complete rear wall removal in my case , but hopefully this is not the same in your van.
If you can get to your fixing nut from below , it will need an extra long 11mm socket to tighten it ,if it is the same as my fixing.

Thanks Cal54 and GeoffnDee, so far I have been unable to get the sink out, even though I used a fair bit of force at all angles of tilt.
I am now concerned that getting the sink out is pointless if I still can’t access the holding nut? It’s looking like cutting a hole in the back wall may be the only access, - drastic action! Probably as difficult as me posting some photos on here.
