Hello there – I need some help here !
I have removed my loose bathroom sink and I’ve got some silicone sealant to seal around the lip on the underside edge before reinstating. But it seems the job might have become more complex as the plughole assembly has dropped out of the basin. There are two seals, one is black and pops through the basin from the bottom and there is a thinner white seal which sits between the metal plughole and the topside of the basin. I'm not sure if that one is a seal or some sort of sealant material, perhaps silicone ? I’ve attached photos. Can I just clean this up and refit or it is more complicated. I hate plumbing.
Thank you very much for your help.
