Yes £120 - 20%, going out via Calais as going to our dealer in Belgium for damp check before heading south & Mi's brother and Mum are only 35/45 min from Tunnel/Dover.

If going directly south no competition for Newhaven saves up to 400 miles on a round trip & only £30 dearer for a return, and Newhaven is only 20 miles from home.

At Portsmouth, if the lights are all green, I can be home with the kettle on before the last disembarkation is through customs. (assuming I'm not tail-end Charlie)

Under 5.4 metres..Just looked again and now they want 129 pounds..Last week when I booked I paid 119 pounds,,1620 train.BUSBY.

he tunnel doesn’t charge by size. They only want to know as the train only has so much space and to make the most of it knowing passengers vehicle length helps. The cost is the same whether 5m or 12m.

We did Newhaven Dieppe on Saturday Evening £96 net and a 4.5 hour millpond journey for heading south in France. Interesting that there was no questions of “have you got any contraband bacon on board” just wanted to see the Tous COVID app with our double jab certificates. And he asked if we were resident before stamping our passports.
