10 crossings can be split between 2 people 6/4I’m curious, how does a 50/50 split work? Isn’t that 5 crossings each? Don’t you each need an even number of crossings?

They do allow a single crossing from France to ukI'm curious how a 50/50 split works. Assuming you go for the minium purchase of 10 crossings that is 5 crossings each.
So that's 2 return crossings plus 1 crossing from UK to France, each. If you use your last crossing towards the end of the 12 month period, presumably you could set up another 50/50 shared frequent traveller arrangement to facilitate your return journey.
But, do they allow you to make your first crossing in the opposite direction ie. France to UK? I always thought you had to make the first crossing from your country of residence.....and subsequent return crossings. Difficulties could also be experienced concerning the advance passenger information API formality.
I suppose you could always pay full fare for a return crossing !!!

If splitting 50/50 you could use Tesco vouchers for the other crossing.

A Frequent Traveller ticket on the Chunnel consists of 10 single tickets. The offer is to split the 10 tickets in two giving 2 returns and effectively binning the other half ticket. This is cost effective if you need to cross only twice but wastes 2 single tickets. The best way to split the tickets is by the number of return journeys e.g. 3/2 as there is no waste of tickets. However more people want 2 returns rather than 3 returns so a 5/5 split is not perfect but better value than buying 2 full rate returns.I've read this thread, but still no idea what's going on
