Looking for an overnight stop (1 Viewer)

we are heading to the French alps on Boxing Day going to Luxembourg and then drop down the east side of France hopefully make luxembourg by the evening any suggestions for an overnight stop?

dudelange aire. right next to the train station which takes you into luxembourg city for 3 euros and 20 minutes. Free air. plenty of space as there is an overflow car park and a couple of cheap petrol stations

Nice spot by the river just out of town by a mile or so. As you get down to the river by the bridge .. Turn right and drive with the river on yr left you will see it on yr left after a mile maybe? basically a large layby. NO facilities though.. Normally a couple of vans there. V good for an overnight (or two). We were there October this year. Nice and quiet too despite the road nearby.

Or you can drive a few miles more and go to Saarburg. Great Aire there. Payable but good facilities though lecy is by the KWH. Livable with.
