I want to fit a larger tv in my motorhome and to do this I need a mount that not only swivels and tilts but also rotates.

I know they exist, I've seen them in motorhomes, but I don't know where to buy one.

Ebay and the like sell 3 way mounts for the home but I haven't found one that can be locked in position to facilitate driving.

Any suggestions peeps?

You haven't said what size \ weight of TV you're looking to mount but have a look at the B-Tech range of mounts.

We've got a BTV112 from their Ventry Range and our TV is "permanently" mounted -

but if you need a "longer armed" version their BTV113 may suit -

and if you need a "double armed" version their BTV114 is available -

If you're thinking about a bigger \ heavier TV their BTV502 \ 503 \ 504 should work for you.

You can download full specs \ etc from their website that should enable you to determine if the bracket \ TV will fit in your location.

Shop around for best prices as seen them on offer frequently.

B-tech certainly offer a wide choice of mounts although I can't see one that allows the TV to swing out for viewing and also be secured against the wall for travelling. Still, I'll give them a ring and see what they recommend. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm fairly sure the "resistance" to movement (swivel \ tilt \ rotation) can all be adjusted so movement in transit is eliminated. Ours doesn't move at all, well unless the dug gives it a good thump (it's mounted above the seat he travels in!) when we're moving but, obviously if you're going for one with longer arm the leverage would be greater. You may also be able to get a "clip" that goes over the arm\s to stop the TV "swinging out" from the wall?

Found one. Thanks guys n gals.

pssst there's a "used" one for half price on Amazon that may do for you?
I normally avoid used/returned items but that appears a pukka supplier. A few scuffs or missing screws I could live with as the mount is out of sight. Tempted.

Tell us what it is then and how to get hold of one!

LCD141L Motorhome/Caravan TV Bracket Wall Mount Arm Anti-Theft and Anti-Shake in Black

Bought through Amazon. Typically £26. Apparently it will accommodate tvs up to 27". It's unclear that means screen size but I guess so.

Try clicking on the image below. Let me know if that doesn't work.

Well did you buy it? It's now gone!:(

Here are a couple of pics. They are in a home setting but the same principle applies in a motorhome. By storing my tv in 'portrait' I will be able to fit a larger set and rotate it to 'landscape' when parked up. And no, I don't intend to get one THAT large

I'm an honorary Yorkshireman. Who do you think bought it?::bigsmile:

Yip, your Yorkshire is showing through! You've kept the plastic on the TV so you can sell it "as new" in a few years time!:giggle:
