One piece of (unasked for I know) advice I would suggest is this: Have a veto "system" in place. If either you or your wife "feels" that any of the vans you look at aren't "right" for any reason whatsoever, my advice is really listen to your gut. We walked away from a good few, both when we bought our first van and when we bought our new one, simply because something didn't "feel right". Some were probably fine and maybe we missed out, some are still for sale nearly 2 years later so obviously we aren't the only ones that thought something wasn't quite right!!
