You need one of those suction cups they use for changing GU10 bulbs stick it on to the glass and pull downwards if the glass and inner trim come down you can then see if it’s just a side pin led unit.

please complete:

The thing in motorhome that is in the ceiling and lets you see when it is dark is called......

How many motorhomers does it take to change one of the above?

Ok here is an important update

Smc motorhomes have offered me a replcement bulb..... Drum roll......at £65 plus vat plus postage :oops:

Good news Aten lighting have offered me an alternative at ££3.50 and Steve ar GgGmobile carvan service has offered to show me how to fix it so I can do it myself next time :clap2:

It turns out this is one of those cases where you can only purchase the LED lamp as a unit the 'bulb' part is not separate however as I said there is a much cheaper option. to work round this.

I don't have the same spot in my Campscout but a quick google of Dometic 70313 found that they are available from this german site. I have purchased from them before - USB adapters that fit the Dometic lighting track - and had no problems. If your german language skills aren't good (I don't have any!) you can use the Chrome browser, it automatically translates webpages.
They do mention that the original spotlight has been discontinued and that this is the replacement.
