Wish I could get hold of the 1999 Beta 200 trials bike the same as the daughter used to ride.
It was a sublime bike to ride

Take a look at the Beta 400 Alp. Daughter in law sold hers about 18 months ago.... If I had had room in the garage I would have bought it... Lovely bike

Use to get a new Factory 300 every year when I was still competing, first thing to do was take it to bits and put it back together with tread lock and grease up the bearings..

Is your engine the same as the trials bike but different gearing?

Don't think so. It's a slightly detuned version of the 300 full blown crosser.

Wow, just wow. It's finally gelled. Until I came over, I hadn't ridden off road since I was 10. Rode about 6 or 7 times with my pal Steve on his bikes and about same on this new one. But today it just seemed to flow. I can now see what to look out for and what will throw me off and what is safe. Was flowing and actually looking for little tricky bits to ride. I'm still slow, but after 15 rides, I think I'm doing OK <Broken link removed>

Other day in the Duster, we came across a path we deemed a bit dodgy, so turned back. I went there today on bike and did the path. After about 200 yards it went mental <Broken link removed> Good job we didn't have a go in the Duster <Broken link removed>

Much less of it now though. A lot of passes were downgraded to footpaths or bridleways. The Ramblers Association are a pretty aggressive lot.

Got this picture sent today.. apparently we have another TM with 300 22 hours on it .

I have no idea what the plan is for it, but i guess i will find out in due course.
