Went to my local Aldi yesterday and they were selling ready meals from the 'Look what we found' range,less than £2 a pack. My daughter who is a trained chef has said it is the best tasting food of its type,each main meal is enough for 2 if paired with spuds or spag,or any other carb.:thumb:
Best by date 2013 I have bought these from Aldi before but it is not a regular item they are also available at Sainsburys.

Asda also do similar meals at £2, VERY tasty, and enough for a large chappie like myself, we use them when away, and i take one to work now and then.........there be bargains out there

We got a couple or three of those, "for emergencys" in the food locker, as you say, padded out with Spag or Tag' it's enough for two. And it's real quick and easy to prepare.:thumb:
