they were only £10 each which I was happy to pay as they are secure areas

Best option might be to look on the outskirts and get a train in (like Southend Essex is approx 45min on train) probably cheaper then congestion charge and petrol etc

There is a CL or CCS site in Theydon Bois right at the end of the Central Line a 20 mile walk from the station. What is your LEZ status?

Where I live you can park up and it's only 10 minute walk to the river , quicker if you run .
We often have a philharmonic Lorry parked up as they record in the square.
