London site or park up for one night

I am needing to travel into central London for an appointment but have a slight problem. Two of us on the train is £120 for 70 miles each way during the week, the bus is cheaper but takes a fairly long time and not often. None of my cars or bikes are allowed into the LEZ so they are out, but my motorhome is?????? being Euro6.. however the very thought. of trying to park make me ill.. What I propose is going up and staying somewhere overnight but knowing where is the problem where it would be safe. There is a site at Crystal Palace but it is miles away from regents park area. Does anybody have an idea which has good transport links to the centre?

Apps Court Farm near to Hampton Court Railway a taxi ride or 20 minutes bike along the Thames path to the station never had a problem. Worth a Google.

Abbey Wood CAMC. Few minutes walk to the station with trains straight into Charing Cross. Good breakfast cafe and Indian restaurant near the station.

Crystal Palace C&MC site is on the no3 bus route which runs every 10mins during the day and as N3, every 20/30mins through the night. The journey takes approx. 50mins and goes to Oxford St. We always use it when we go to the theatre.

I beleive I have read recently that the Crystal Palace site is currently under reveiw. As The Lease was up some time back and is being reviewed on a seasonal basis. Currently still open IF you can get a booking!. Wyatts Covert, is just over a Mile from Denham Station, which (i think) goes to Paddington? and may be of interest.

An Option , which we used when attending the US embassy to get our Visa`s. Was to book a stay in a Premier Inn near Northolt?. And ride the train in?. The car stayed in the car park at the P-I during the day. Proved to be more cost effective than taking the R-V down to London from Yorkshire.

Slightly off topic, But the Crystal Palace site was originally along the top of the A212?. And called Caravan Harbour.

That would cost the same as going from home, I want to go on from the appt, and go somewhere else after to make the rip a trip. The LEZ is a pain in the rear as I cannot use my bike. Also parking is a bind. I will probably go by bus and take the delays.
