while the wife indisposed and the theirs more hot weather on the way the weem man wanted to make some ice lolly's.
so I went to the puond shop and got some moulds enough to make abut 20 so I started with irn brew ones then coca cola and vimto,
the wee man made the orange ones and black current.
granddad wont thay fizz up in the freezer with it being fizzi pop no son they will be fine look of disbelief
well abut 9pm looked in the freezer frozen irn brew coca cola vimto all over the freezer
just spent three hrs getting rid of the evidence.
DE fizzed the irn brew coca cola and vimto and made more he will never know will he

I know somebody who did similar and put a can of cider in the freezer to chill quick and forgot it. The wife was not pleased next day

I forgot about a bottle of Cava put in the freezer for a quick chill. My pathetic attempts at wine sorbet were not appreciated as the bottle burst and showered glass all over the freezer contents. It was a bit spectacular though!

Once left a case of coke in the shower of a prev van in winter - when next in van looked like there had been an explosion in a spaghetti factory! IT was up the walls, on the ceiling and the loo. Lesson learnt! Took bloody ages to clean up.

Just caught up with this thread @HappyBrewer - did you do cider pops? They sound like they'd be really delicious!
Oh - and did you come clean to the Wee Man about HIM being RIGHT???

We put a bottle of Pineau De Charentes to chill in the freezer at a lake in France we were carp fishing on, and forgot about it for a couple of hours. It made wonderful Slush Puppies!! We were all quite squiffey quite quickly.

Not recommended for small children though.
