Dom. It is at the top of the hill at a lovely village. Make sure you see the sign showing you the MH route at the bottom, otherwise you go through this lovely village and under some very small archways. A little train goes from the aire into the village for 3 euros.

Another lovely place is Sarlat although we stayed Camping Acacias there. Huge market that went all through the town.

Also, Beaulie-sur-Dordogne. That was a site on an island. In the ACSI book, it was 13 euros beside the river, otherwise it was 11 euros. Ooops, forgot you can't use ACSI in July and August.

We stayed at Cahors, but it wasn't a big aire. You cross the bridge and can walk into the town. Nothing very impressive there.

Have a lovely time. ::bigsmile:

Try the one at Parnay - between Saumur and Montsoreau. It's actually situated on an old campsite that went out of business, so the layout is A1.

Hi

The Aire at Bouchemaine is worth a visit, there is a small cost but it has EHU's toilets and showers. You may also find some aires of interest at

we stayed at a aire at Sully ser Loire, just drive along the tree lined road and there is a lovely free aire, free water and empyt point, nice area of grass at the fron, holds about 16 motorhomes.

Also we stayed at a free car park along side of a canal at Briare, not too far from the Loire, just over the canal bridge is an aire cost about 5 euros.

and a must is to go to the Chateau Chambord, it is a very specatcular chateau, with a small canal going off from it, we got the bikes off and biiked round it.
