Advice please as so which to get

We feel we need a set of these as Maxine our Ducato Maxi based motorohome has not got any

AND
Locally in Chesterfield a local Charity which has 3 Ducato base vans has had ALL their wheels stolen (YEP 3 x 4 alloys) the vans were not even propped up on bricks when they found them Monday morning

it is believed that some local Itinerants have had them away

So we do not want to find our van like theirs

Have you tried the usual E Bay & Amazon sites, that would be my first port of call.
I dont have any on our alloy wheels as yet either, so may join you in the hunt.
Don't be surprised if you get some "Itinerants" round soon offering a set of Fiat Alloys with tyres with every new tarmac driveway:)

Found these on Amazon so far, but will keep looking/
Amazon product ASIN B01M30CJ2E

We purchased a set for our Ducato from the local Fiat dealer. Wanted the correct ones and given how much a new wheel/tyre would cost £35 seemed good value :)

It would seem Milenco make them for The Ducato Motorhomes "to fit both Steel & Alloy wheels"
Product Code is 1922.
Have to find a Milenco retailer that stocks them though, no idea of price as yet.

Do these fit alloy wheels?

Make sure if you have the Maxi chassis that you get the bigger ones as I didn’t first time around (n)

When I had Alloys on a Fiat the bolts were longer than the ones for the spare steel wheel.

A note of caution regarding locking wheel nuts. My vehicle was serviced by a highly regarded motorhome dealer in Lincoln. When it went in for service the key to the locking nuts was in an envelope upon which were printer instructions in large type asking them not to use an air gun when tightening them. This was followed for a couple of years but the last time it went in for service they contacted me to say that there was a delay in completing the job as they could not get the wheelnuts off as they had stripped the ‘key’.

They eventually removed 3 but had to take the vehicle to specialists to remove the final one. They then presented me with the bill for removal costs! As you can imagine I refused to pay it.

If a puncture had occurred in the middle of Spain I would have been in serious difficulties.

be aware there are a couple of different size bolts to fit the ducato. without seeing your van, even a fiat dealer needs to check by VIN number and sometimes get it wrong

I’m not a thief, however I can take a locking nut off without to much trouble and have done so many times, a thief will probably do it quicker without blinking....

I’ll save my money

You are like me Garry, ;) you tube is best when deciding what to buy , I'm not saying it's not worth locking anything, it's how difficult it is to get it off, we got the better locks for our bikes, but if someone wants something they will have it. :crying1: Bob.
