Hello all, I have used this site many times for reference and research etc but now find myself in need of some help.
I am locked out of my Hymer b774 2004. The lights are flashing every few seconds as if it is being locked. When i try to unlock any of the locks on the central locking system the key is will not move to the unlocking position. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi thanks for that but it is not remote opening on the key it is manually opened.

I have tried that lubing the locks on all doors but they are ok in that sense, they all turn to the lock position but not to the open position

might be wrong here but it sound like your actual van battery is flat and recycling, are you saying you have the door open or are you saying you cant manully turn thr key to open the door ?

Hi the motorhome is hooked up to electric on the drive to keep it topped up along with the leisure ones so i think it should be ok, but i still need to get in

Have you tried getting in with it NOT on hook-up?
Just a thought.
And, is the HAB door also covered on the central locking system or could you not get in through that?

If you are home surely you have a second set of keys ??!!

Also most motorhomes the hab door is not on the central locking system

Can you open any of the lockers ?
Do any of the lockers have access to the inside of the van (you may need to borrow a small child)

Once you have access, you should copy one of the door keys, get it made as a 'blade'.
You can then hide that on the exterior of the van.
(Magnetic boxes underneath, behind bits of gaffa tape stuck to the inside of bumpers or racks
Loads of hiding places on the van. A full set of keys should be inside in a place no-one will ever find them

Did you manage to get into the van. I had a B774 for about 10 years the hab door on ours was not part of central locking so you should be able to get in through there.
