Lot of diddies that side, that one of the reason they put restrictions there , off the A82 lots of places to park up, :thumb:

Not diddies, (is that slang for Travellers ?)

the extreme issues
are caused by a minority of people engaging in a range
off anti-social behaviour including drunkenness,
vandalism,criminal damage,assault, vehicular trespass
etc

basically people coming and making a mess, partying, cutting down trees and leaving a mess, and dumping cheap camping gear and Argos tents.. once again.. the few have spoiled it for the majority.. :Angry:

[HI]It is an offence to camp in the East Loch Lomond Restricted Zone at any time of day or night, except if you are using one of the official designated sites.The byelaws apply from 1 March to 31 October every year. Download a map of the restricted zone.[/HI]

The restrictions apply to:

Tents, wigwams, bivouacs at any time

Gazebos overnight

Tarpaulin shelters overnight

Any form of shelter overnight

Sleeping in a motor vehicle overnight

Overnight is 7pm to 7am. A maximum fine of £500 applies to breaches of the byelaws.
