Those of us you who know us will no that we have been planning to build an overland camper to travel around the world.
This dream has been years in the making and is almost a reality.
We have purchased the base vehicle in Germany, a 1988 ex army Mercedes 1017A.
The Cabin is being professionally built and mounted on the vehicle in July by a German company called Ormocar who make expedition vehicles.
The vehicle will hopefully enter the UK in September as a motorhome, but will still need considerable interior work completeing over the following months.( approx 6 months )
Here's our problem and the request for help.
As yet are options for a location to fit the vehicle out are very limited.
We are looking for any kind offers of help. Ideally we would need a small area that we can park the vehicle on and stay in our current camper nearby . We would need access to electricity.
A barn or building would be perfect but outside is an option.
The vehicle size is 8 mtrs long and 3.5 mtrs high
Appropriate rent applies
If any memebers feel that they could assist us then we would be extremely grateful of any offers or suggestions made .
