Looking for somewhere in the UK where 70 or so motorhomes could meet, some with EHU. Needs to have suitable accommodation for entertainment nearby, catering for around 200 (bar, seating). Maybe a school or racecourse?

Any suggestions most welcome.

This would be a closed user group, and not as exciting as a FUN gathering, but there's no reason not to repeat one with an open invitation later.
Finding an adjacent hall/meeting place is the biggest difficulty.

starting close to home for you, Shrewsbury Show Ground would seem to be a good starting point (y)

although the accommodation options may not quite match your needs, maybe could be covered by outside catering?

Many schools will allow meets as will rugby clubs but usually out of season.

You could call Lyndon Top at Rutland water, loads of space and I think I heard they will hire out a barn.

Sorry but which closed group would this be for, as this could make a difference to suggestions.

Don’t think Shrewsbury would be big enough. The grounds are big enough for the motorhomes, but if you look at @Ambilkate meet the room will only seat 70.

I'm an oldbie MH number 10
so is it for Funsters with over 4t motorhomes? I don't understand...

But there is a great place we have met before which would be suitable and it's in stratford upon avon just outside where they have the drag racing.

Ill go and weigh my van to make sure we can come

I am asking on behalf of an owners club. They need somewhere large for an AGM.

Oswestry ??
You have the Rugby club, Mcc have 70 + vans there. EHU may be the issue.

Also across the road is the showgrounds, def EHU spots as used by C&CC a lot. halls and plenty of space.
