I require a permamently live feed to a dash mounted socket on my 2004 Fiat Ducato 2.8. Can anyone provide me with details of the nearest suitable live wire to the cigar lighter ? The feed is only required for powering a 2amp charger and I intend to use a Scotchlock and inline fuse.

The cigarette socket on ours is live all time so take it off that.

When you have repaired as many Failed Scotch Lock connections as the average mechanic has, you too will also have an inbuilt hatred for them.

Simply find a permanent live fuse and remove it, push in the piggy back circuit extender. Use the removed fuse in the correct slot to reinstate the ciruit, and away you go,then simply fuse the other slot to suit your purpose
All fuses where they should be, in the fuse box

Getting better month by month.
Can those Piggy Back fuse holders that @Geo linked to be used in the front of the Electroblocs or only from the main fuse panel?

Yes providing you can find enough room, knowing what wiring to Elektroblocks is like.
