Little yellow hand on stick, own up!

Lots of waves between Peterborough and Lowestoft this morning. One of them had a special device for waving, a little yellow hand on a red stick or similar.

Anyone seen it before?

Popular quite a few years ago I seem to remember.
I'm sure a pair of yellow marigolds would have been cheaper.... And with a secondary use as well.

Last year nearby to Orleans we had a wave from a yellow hand shaped cut out attached to a wiper blade. Made us nearly p ourselves

I nearly let the side down by almost waving at a Shed-Dragger who had the timerity to gesticulate in our direction the other day. Luckily I restrained myself in the nick of time, especially when I realised that what he was really doing was slapping his map-reader. Tut-tut.
