Little Roodee motorhome parking useful info (1 Viewer)

Arrived at Roodee car park and whilst parking up an Enforcement officer said you can park in the coaches places now, apparently a new ruling. It would suit larger motorhome and RV due to length.
I took a photo of his moped just in case we got a ticket, maybe give them a call if wary of permission

Good news.

Someone on here got booked because the wing mirrors exceeded the width of the normal bay.

They have toilets so could easily make it a proper Aire with facilities
About 5 artics stayed last night

I wonder if you use the coach bays do you have to pay coach prices.

It doesn't state so Carol plus you pay on the way out so how would they know? I'm sure he would've said so as well.
Here is a picture of the sign which states motor vehicles, I'm sure it used to say cars but I could be wrong
It also states....... bay or space which is a bit ambiguous

Ok as a way of warning
If you receive a ticket that says bus then press other button and it should say car
An Italian Motorhomer shown me two tickets with car and bus
Both had his reg no
Sadly he needed to empty toilet and black so unhappy it was not available
Gave 3 Italians searchforsites.co.uk as well as this site

I stayed in May this year arrived at 1pm left at 10am next morning took two parking bays £10 bargain for the middle of Chester.

I've been told to take ticket from lower machine, as higher one will charge you coach prices.

Sadly, I resemble that remark. I made that mistake the firs time I stayed there and could only rectify it by leaving, paying, and taking another ticket.

Yes Sue lower button but if you make a mistake and press top then don't panic just press bottom.
Arrived 5-25 left next day at 4-20 = £7-30

I was there in May and took ticket from higher machine (planned on staying in Coach Bays anyway regardless of cost); parked in Coach Bay stayed two nights and only paid the normal car parking charge on departure.

Nice surprise for us and will definitely return.
