Hi going to give this a try Friday afternoon early evening. Hoping there will be space anybody been recently and had problems getting on.

You can’t drive down castle drive at the minute. Just follow the diversion signs. We come in from the south and instead of the big bridge with the racecourse on the left and rooddee on the right, we turn right before the bridge and come in on the single carriageway bridge just after the co op garage on the right. I hope that’s clear as mud.

They're using the middle of the car park as a storage/equipment hub for some of the roadworks that are happening in Chester at the moment, saw about 8 motorhomes/campervans parked up there over the BH weekend, so there is room, but might be a bit noisy early doors ?

They were also using part of the carpark for COVID testing.

Given the cost of campsites right now we will probably try the carpark option more often. Just need to research other options.
