Just a tad..
My issue is, I rarely find the motivation to wash the MH. When I do find the missing motivation, I’m usually miles from anywhere parked up next a lake fishing and waiting for the next bite.

So, my little roses pump up watering spray bottle just isn’t man enough to rinse off… I’m not after mega powerful jet wash, just something that actually works. 🤦‍♂️

Did some Googling a looking at reviews HERE, the Titan TTI855PRW seems to do well in reviews. It’s got a 5.0Ah battery which I am hopeful will give me the scope to wash the whole of my gargantuan MH. 🤷‍♂️

Best news is Screwfix have it in their summer sale HERE 👌

I shall report on its function when I find the motivation to actually use it! 🤣

Anyone else for one?

Hope battery lasts long enough to finish job or you will get half van nice and sparkly and whilst awaiting a recharge your motivation gets up and buggers off and other halve of van remains a midden.!!

The Titan looks to have pretty well the same specs as the Worx Hydroshot that I have, and if you are expecting it to do the whole job, then you may well be disappointed as it's good for wetting and washing off, but you really need to get to work with a brush and sponge after wetting with the washer if you want it to look anything like clean.

I've used one of these for years now small easy to store and runs of my lithium battery starter pack.
Also have the Parkside (Lidl) lithium battery jet wash but prefer this to that when on the road

Ive used the worx one for a couple of years, I wouldnt say its great but it does the job much better than a hose and I can do the van with 2 - 3 buckets.
Although I do prefer to do it when raining so it self rinses :giggle:

We are waiting for one of our Grandsons to come for a week over the summer. He has a fixation with car washes and for his birthday treat he wanted to sleep in the van one night when we were visiting (done) and to wash the van when he is with us this summer. So we haven't washed it after our last trip (to visit him as it happens) and I have the wash and wax here waiting for him.

I thought about one of these too but managed to talk myself out of it as I didn't want to lug it around with me. We can normally find a pressure washing station along the routes in UK and Europe. If not, and it happens to rain, I tend to go out and wash it then. Particularly in hot weather, I find it quite refreshing. Then, once the rain has stopped, or i have jet-washed, I finish it off with a microfiber cloth. Twice a year it gets a right going over at the farm where we keep it. ATM I am still washing out red sand from the storms in Spain in April. Grrrr. Safe travels all. 👍

I’ve also got the worx one . It’s a good bit of kit and you can get an adapter for the battery to use as a USB charger for phones etc . 👍🏻

I must be one of the lucky ones who do not have a fixation over having to have a clean van.. gets washed very occasionally at home.... never when out and about.
I do, however in the cause of safety keep windows clean.

I can see Social Services getting involved here. Sending six year old grandsons up ladders and on roof to do the cleaning is probably frowned on. 😄

That’s the plan… loosen off with the washer, brush and sponge, the rinse.

I thought the hydro shot had a smaller battery, but may be mistaken….. TBH the 5.0Ah battery was the driver for the purchase… feel like I’ve a fighting chance of washing it ALL!! 🤦‍♂️

At the pressure washing stations, can you still do the roof, please?

Also, the above portable washers.. do you just put them in your 12v socket? Sorrif daft question. :(

They are mains recharge so you’ll need your inverter on! 👌

I’m lucky insofar as I live close enough to Morrisons and use there jet wash frequently. The bonus is you ‘buy’ the number of minutes you think you will need and not a pre-determined programme. The benefit is you decide how long of each programme you actually want and can go high or low pressure. The downside is I am a bit enthusiastic and come home soaked😁 usually.!!

I would never use a full powered jet wash on our van . That’s why the low power battery option is better in my opinion.

Swifter

I agree entirely that’s why I mentioned you have a choice. I have a PVC and no external gas vents so I can use the higher pressure as long as I don’t get too close and keep the lance at a suitable angel.

The Worx batteries a copied by many and the Titan looks like it may be the same format.
I bought a couple of Chinese 5.0Ah batteries to give me extra runtime with my washer.

In certain ones, yes. They have a gantry that you can do the roof from. I must admit, I do not bother too much about that on the road and save it until I get home to do a proper job. 👍

Although the Screwfix price is tempting, that Titan gizmo seems short of accessories. I use the Worx hydrashot most frequently with the supplied bottle adapter rather than getting out a hose and bucket. Great for washing off bird poo quickly.

If I want to wash the PVC it is such a faff (last time it took 6 hours including roof) that I might as well get the garden hosepipe out. My Draper adjustable nozzle provides a similar pressure to the Worx hydrashot and needs no battery. The Worx gadget is fine for pre-rinsing and post-rinsing when washing the car, which takes just 2 buckets plus a once-over with a sponge.

Thanks for pointing out the Screwfix deal Carpmart. Picked one up yesterday, other than making sure it works have not yet had a chance to try it out properly. Previously used a 12v cycle pressure washer but it was bulky and it had stopped working properly. This is a much neater package.

I purchased one of these for when on the move, brilliant bit of kit and works from a bucket of water if necessary, good battery.£99.99 on Amazon.

UPDATE - So I’ve now used it (Titan Screwfix washer) today…. Found the motivation from somewhere 🤣

The battery lasted fine for the whole job. I would call it a quick clean I’ve done today, not a proper job. Got through six B&Q builders buckets of water all on one charge and still showing two of four battery lights.

My MH is 3.3M high and it doesn’t keep perfect pressure when the hose and handle are high when washing the top rail of the MH and when bucket fed. However drop the washer down for a second and it’s back pumping fine.

Overall, it’s probably slightly better than I expected, so I’m happy with the purchase. 👌

22 bar, I doubt it will clear bug off the windscreen.
My Aldi special is 300 bar and could clear glass off the windscreen.
Saying that, it is petrol driven.
