what would you expect to pay for a 200amp lithium battery .do they need a special controller for them and would 2 100amp batterys be better than 1 200 amp

Your battery charger needs to have a lithium option in its battery type selection. Lithium battery’s have there own BMS (battery management system) built in. Many are Bluetooth to show state of charge to an app on your phone.

Lithium seems to be coming down in price, but more so with unbranded or lesser known brands. I paid £2850 for the 210ah batteries I have but they are made by Super B which is a well know brand within the industry. I don’t think it make much difference between how many batteries, just what’s fits in space wise.

Contact “eco tree“ batteries they are so helpful and will give you help and genuine advise. They also offer discounts to “Funsters”.

I paid 650 for an unknown brand (200 ah) from Amazon.
delivery was 3 days
Original company was american
Reviews good
Tested and is actually 200 ah
Still working 6 months later
No BMS but added bits to it to view state of charge etc for about 40 quid (non blue tooth)

If fitting two or more lithium batteries, should they all be the same brand/size, considering that most have a BMS built in? I’ve got two 100ah lithiums, which are the same, and want to add another.
