Could I ask the funsters to list their top three "must haves" for all n00b's please?

The choice is yours. We have the carry chef ( must be the one to run off proper lpg supply, NOT the campingaz one which is too feeble ). It's perfect for two of us, so versatile. Many have the bigger floor standing one.

I fitted an external BBQ point for ours.

Not used it much this year, I have to say.

I am totally confused re regulators. In order to use the LPG I will be carrying in the mh, is it the hp or lp version?

It's the low pressure one that has the higher output.

You also need to order rubber pipe and fittings to suit how you are going to connect it to an LPG supply/cylinder.

1 / Sense of humour but if being misreble makes you happy that's ok if you avoid other M/H ers!

2/ Money, or you'll end up sat on your drive with no diesel.

3/ Map if you don't drink, Rum if you do, Rum avoids the need for a map as you spend the day recovering before driving a few miles before you open the next bottle
