hello iam going to the Lincoln show does anyone know what shops are around within walking distance to the show ground please not sure how much food to take with me thankyou elaine

Nearest shops are a couple of miles away and not recommended to walk to. There are buses (usually) from the show site into Lincoln on the Saturday if that helps. Otherwise, as previously said, fast food only on the site whilst the show ground is open and at night outside of the entertainment. There is usually a small shop whilst the show is open where you can buy basics such as bread and milk but very small and not a huge choice. Might be worth confirming with the organisers if all this still applies this year though.

You need to heck the rules Warners will have sent in case they differ from this web guide..https://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/shows/show/the-motorhome-campervan-show-season-finale/camping-information this online guide does not prohibit BBQs but even if allowed the usual safety advice for them should be followed.

BBQs / cooking ok outside - you may need to respect neighbours and not use a disposable on the ground. There are caterers on the food court and in the entertainment marquee that sell alcohol. There have been music events inside one of the permanent buildings which have bar facilities but I have some doubts that might not be the case this year - willing to stand corrected if anyone knows differently though. No pub as such, BUT - there are plenty of friendly Funsters who you can talk to and if you bring your own alcohol, they will probably welcome you to join in.

You just need to be open to meeting new people because they won't come knocking on your door. (If you just want peace and quiet, they respect that) . Rallies are one of the best aspects of FUN beyond what you see on the forums - you just need to join in and you will soon make new friends.

Edit: - If you are a solo traveller, there are several ladies who also travel independently who are always welcoming so it is worth keeping an eye out for them and introducing yourself.
