enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
hi, since the (understandable) decision not to have an all singing and dancing Lincoln show, we have decided just to go for one day (Friday) and wild camp somewhere close by on the Thursday, then travel over to Stockport on Saturday morning (we are looking for a pub stopover and meal on the Friday night after the show around the Sheffield area, so we can go over the snake on Saturday morning to Stockport)

any recommendations for the Thursday night wild camp please?

There's Tillbridge Lane viewpoint just East-North-East (top left!) of the showground which we've used before:

There are a few places coming up on the search for sites app. I havnt used it but we know of some one who stayed at the Lawns Car Park near the castle uphill Lincoln for one night after attending an event at the cathedral.
